Kaiser Permanente

Kaiser Richmond provides school-linked services STI testing, contraceptive counseling, sport physicals, and other general medical concerns.

Mobile Van Services

Contra Costa Health Services provides a Nurse Practitioner who offers reproductive health examinations, medical supplies, STI testing and treatment as needed. Other services, such as well physicals (including vision and hearing) and immunizations for sports or preventative health maintenance, including minor sick care is also provided.

Teenage Program (TAP)

Through the contra Costa Health Service Department, students are encouraged to drop-in and meet a TAP Health Educator to schedule medical appointments, obtain free condoms, and/or discuss confidential reproductive health concerns

Youth Services Bureau (YSB)

YSB provides supportive services for students and families who are eligible for medi-cal services. Services include individual and family counseling and additional support services.

IMPACT

One of West Contra Costa Unified School District's prevention and early intervention curriculum- based programs. IMPACT is a school-based approach. Students are provided with resources that will enhance their awareness and allow them to make healthier lifestyle choices.

Activate America

Activate America (Stanford Healthy Lifestyle Assessment Program) sponsored by the YMCA of the East Bay, focused on increasing the levels of physical activity and learning the values associated with healthy food choices. Activate America is a 22-week program which helps youth establish short-term and long-term goals. The program is aimed to educate individual values associated with healthy life style behaviors.

Planned Parenthood

The planned Parenthood Healthy Educator provides drop-in education, counseling, safer sex supplies, pregnancy testing and rapid HIV testing. The planned Parenthood Health Educator offers interactive classes on sexual healthy and well-being and cover topics such as healthy relationships, safe sex,STIs and HIV/AIDS, Pregnancy, birth control, and LGBTQI awareness.

Y Team Counseling

The Y team is a diverse group of mental healthy professionals who provide individual, group and families. The Y Team mission is provided every client with the opportunity to be successful in school and in the future. students can refer themselves or be referred by teachers, parents, peers staff or other concerned adults. Y team is a program of the YMCA of the East bay.

Helping Our Peers Everyday (H.O.P.E)

H.O.P.E is a peer to peer education program, led by a planned Parenthood Educator. The group discusses topics vital to the health of teens including sake sex, healthy relationships, STI prevention birth control and more. H.O.P.E will plan and coordinate events to raise awareness about sexual and reproductive health.

Community Health for Asian Americans

CHAA provides behavioral health care to individuals, families and communities of Asian and Pacific origins. CHAA staff provides culturally competent services to language, cultural needs, and the experiences of our clients.
